Important! ALL FEES ARE DUE AT THE TIME YOU REGISTER FOR CLASSES. SEE THE FEES AND PAYMENTS INFORMATION PAGE FOR FURTHER DETAILS.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT ADDING CLASSES:
FALL/SPRING SEMESTERS: During the 2nd week of the semester, even though the seat count indicates that there are seats available in a class, students may only add full term classes with an Add Authorization Number that they will receive from the instructor. Add Authorization Numbers will be provided to waitlisted students first, and to additional students only if the instructor is able to admit additional students after all students on the waitlist have been added. Short-term classes that have already begun and appear as open in the STATUS column require an Add Authorization Number to add.

SUMMER SESSIONS and SHORT-TERM CLASSES: During Summer sessions and for short-term classes, Add Authorization Numbers are required as of the first class meeting even if it appears that there are open seats in the class. Add Authorization Numbers will be provided to waitlisted students first, and to additional students only if the instructor is able to admit additional students after all students on the waitlist have been added. Only the instructor can provide Add Authorization Numbers, and all numbers must be used before the end of the late enrollment period.

Open to Enrollment: Each course offered by the Ventura County Community College District and its colleges is open to enrollment and participation by any person who has been admitted to the college and who meets the prerequisites to the class or program, unless specifically exempted by statute.

Deadlines: Check the deadline dates and view important information for a class by clicking on the CRN link.

Additional Notes NOTE: CRN 30153 What scares us? What kinds of images and ideas touch a collective nerve, getting us talking to each other while also keeping us awake at night? These linked sections of Film Studies (Film M31, CRN 30153) and English M01B (CRN 31696) will explore contemporary horror, graphic novels, science fiction, superhero narratives, and psychological dramas. Such genres prompt audiences to ask questions about what we fear and desire the most. Film M31 will include films such as Jaws, The Exorcist, Take Shelter, and Fruitvale Station. Taking both courses is not required, but students who do so will benefit from their shared content and thematic connections.
